EEOC Public Meeting on Age Discrimination

The EEOC has announced a public meeting with a panel of experts will be held on July 15, 2009 to discuss age discrimination in employment.  The notice states that the panelists will “discuss the results of age stereotyping on older workers’ ability to keep their jobs during layoffs or to find work afterwards and the effect of recent controversial Supreme Court decisions on enforcement of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA).”
